Post subject:  Dancing OK, but how could I do it better?

Hi, I’ve put up a music vid on you tube here: http://youtu.be/s4AcBOgPxSg
(But not just here to post, I’m asking for advice below).

Background:
Idea was to do a sci fi web series. I’ve come to realise that using music I don’t have the rights to is a bad idea, but it’s a bit late for that. Was originally course-work… I had tunnel vision.
The dancing, and only the dancing is iPi Soft, basic license, two Kinects at 180 degrees.

Anyway, much as iPi did an outstanding job I still feel the representation looks a little stilted & stiff, especially the upper body. Honestly, it looked better in real life.
There’s a law of diminishing returns here sure, and I should just move on, but I could still redo this vid.
And I’d like to know for future reference.

Any suggestions as to how I could do a better job?
Cheers

What were your smoothing settings set at?I usually leave mine at the standard setting and it seems to get me decent results.

Hi thanks for replying. I left everything default apart from choosing very flexible spine.
Default smoothing.
I'm going to redo the sequence. People have been saying things like... "looks like a 90's video game, it's mechanical”
I’ll try a few different settings. Maybe even try a three camera set up.
Cheers
