Hi!

I've exported my imported character to Cinema 4D as a .fbx file. Everything works, except that the character's center position (hip) stays locked (it rotates, but stays at world's center).
When I export as a .bhv file, the hip and everything works perfectly on the skeleton, but since I need the mesh, I'd like to export as .fbx – why does the character stay centered?

Thanks in advance!

I may suppose you're retargeting the 'Hips' (root) joint of Mocap Studio's model to a similar joint of your character, but that joint is not the root. So translation given to that joint is ignored (only translation of the root joint moves the character). If so, try assigning 'Hips' to the actual root of your character (even if it's not located in the vicinity of the hips).

I'm not sure why the behavior differs for FBX and BVH, this may be some peculiarity of Cinema 4D.
