It seems that when exporting motion capture data to Matlab, there is no timing information automatically provided -- we get frame number, but not the time in seconds, in other words.

I can go back and look at the frame rate in Mocap Studio (usually close to 30 FPS for Kinect) in order to assign a time to each frame rate, but I'm wondering if I'm missing a way of doing this automatically. Also, that method (using frame rate to assign a time to each frame) assumes a constant frame rate throughout the video, which would usually be a pretty safe assumption, but one I'd rather avoid if possible.

Any ideas?

In case anyone else wondered, iPi support confirmed that at this time (Mocap Studio 3.1.0.173), only frame numbers and not timestamps are exported.
