Post subject:  "Import target character" question

Trying to figure out how to import the Poser default skeleton. I've watched the video that shows how to do it, but my question is where is the file I'm supposed to import? Am I supposed to have the file already, or do I just export a .BVH from Poser (DAZ Studio is actually what I use) of the character in a T-pose and use that file?

Note: I haven't actually gotten to record any video yet. Planning to do that tomorrow. Just trying to familiarize myself with the software right now.

Once you successfully shoot a usable mocap with DMC's native bone structure:

Import a 1 second T-pose BVH file from the poser character you will use the motion for.

In DMC, select import target character.

DMC will just use it as reference and it will appear beside DMC's original skeleton. Hit the play button and you should see the poser skeleton move the same with the original.

Export the BVH afterwards and test it within DAZ. It should work.

Thanks, Owl! I tried to do some recording yesterday, but didn't get the calibration. I think I was close, so hopefully sometime this week I can get it perfect.
