We need to extract some very simple data in real-time - just the position and rotation of the "root" of the person being captured. We don't need the full skeleton, so performance should not be an issue.

I don't think an interface is provided at the moment, although there is the iPiLib.dll that may be useful. Can we get a .lib and a .h file to do this?

Build-in algorithms are designed for full body mocap. It is not easy to modify them to capture only root bone in realtime. That is it is possible but it is not in our current roadmap.
