Hi,
I am working on a project where i cant fit the depth data (i am using kinect) to the model because of background changing at all time.
it looks like although i cant fit the model to the data the torso and head are fitted well, and all i need from this recording is to know the direction the actor is facing.
i am using 4 kinect v2, with the pro version and biomech add on.
anyone has an idea how i can measure the direction of an actor from just the torso and head?
thanks in advance

Hi
What do you mean by "direction of an actor" - his look direction? If you take it to be the same as face-forward direction (assuming an actor always looks straight ahead), then the only thing you need is head position and orientation. Is the head actually tracked well by the program?
Biomech add-on allows to get positions of eye "bones" (REye, LEye). Using them, you can compute the look direction.
