Cool, Thanx! Great tutorial.

I got a request today to make a tutorial about that and now i found this today! XD

The problem i had, was the rest-position, which made it impossible at first.
I simply used the Max-export as well and remodeled my character with the arms down i think.
Anyway, your construction is way better.

But i wonder why the rest-position from the exported rig is like crunched together?
Even in bvh-hacker it looked the same.

Btw, i am from Germany, too ;)

Hi,

Thanks for posting this tutorial! I'm not currently a Blender user but I've been following its development for several years. With the recent release of Sintel, I'm now VERY interested in trying the program again and your tutorial has definitely added to the interest. :)

No support...? What's going on? I came here for a tutorial, is there something no longer being supported?

I suppose radiac complains about not enough technical support, and that's the reason for deleting his tutorial from this topic.

Hi, radiac.
Your last post is dated by 30 Nov 2011 (not considering edits). Please ping to those of your topics which are still relevant and need further tech support. I'll try to help you.

Hi there guys,

I too have been frustrated with lack of support for Blender.

However, I was happy to discover that the BVH export for 3DS Max biped seems to work fairly well inside blender.

I don't know why the blender bvh export seems all twisted at the start. But it seems fairly workable with the 3ds Max export.

I don't know why since I'm not a technical genius of this stuff.
