Post subject:  Importing Root Joint issue!

Hi, I'm from an indie game dev studio and we're trying to get some mocap done asap,
We've got recording working but whenever we try and import our character from Maya as a .fbx it only imports the root joint which is Pelvis_JNT ... none of the other joints are importing, am I missing a step?
