Post subject:  Dual Kinect setup without "master" files

Hello! I work in a VFX studio and we've recently started doing some body tracking tests with dual Kinect setup for our production. I am currently working with already recorded sessions, and I've run into an issue with the videos I was given.
Typically, the video file looks something like this

Or without the master/slave subfiles altogether. However, I have some takes that look like this

Mocap Studio doesn't automatically combine these files and imports them only one camera at a time. But I need both of them. The video footage is the same, although total frame counts differ slightly (e.g. 1805 frames in master file and 1819 frames in slave).

Is there a way to import two of these files directly to Mocap studio? Or maybe there's a separate utility that combines them?

I'm not entirely sure as to why the master file (without the master/slave prefixes) is missing and what exactly happened. The obvious workaround is to reshoot the take, but if this problem manifests itself during real production on set? it isn't really an option.

Anybody else had the same experience?

Hi
I suppose you're looking for Merge Videos tool in iPi Recorder. It's intended for combining individual records from a distributed recording session.

PS. Could not see your images - got HTTP 403 error.

Thanks! This looks exactly what I was looking for. I will give it a try today.

And sorry for the images. Google drive was probably not the best choice for image hosting I guess.

Here are the "good" and "bad" takes respectively
