I finaly got my HP tx2500 to run XP! however i cant get both cameras to work in ipirecorder. one camera will be fine but the other one will be dropping every frame (with 2 camera setup). I'll also eventually get a windows error saying USB bandwidth exceeded and the recorder will crash. the only way to re-open it after that is to restart the machine. i have this problem on all of my machines except for one desktop, but only if one of the cameras are plugged in the front port, and the other in the back (they cant be on the same side). However that desktop is my main box at work and as it is a full workstation, isn't very portable...

any ideas whats going on?

Update: i got 3 cameras to work now without crashing, my 2 logitechs and the built in webcam on my laptop. one camera is fine, the next is loosing a few frames (about 6 frames less) and the final cam is dropping all frames. its doesn't seem to mater what order i connect the cameras, which ever camera is first in ipirecorder has the lowest frame rate (in this case none).

It is possible that resolution is too high for your PCs.

Please try using lower resolution. For example, 320x240 should be OK for markerless motion capture.
