i've been using Ipisoft Mocap Studio for a week now, and i've tried every single optimization i found in the docs and here in the forums. My problem is that, no matter how much i contrast the actor's body parts from the background, hands and feet tracking are wrong 30% of the time , especially during moderately fast movements, and when hands are near the body.
I tried using two different rooms, with multiple camera setups. The calibration process is always perfect, camera heights are absolutely correct. These are the rooms i tried:
1) Here are a couple of photos, and the measurements of the room
2) Here is another room i tried, much bigger but with less lightning
I tried fixing the tracking problems by using the refine function, but it simply doesn't work. I fix the pose on the last wrong frame, then refine backward. Nothing changes, all previous wrong frames remain wrong. Yesterday i tried using two more light sources ( which you can't see in the photos above ), but the results were the same. I wore different outfits in different tests, the current one surely improved the results ( red pants , white shoes, blue shirt , black sleeves, yellow gloves, grey hat ) , but sadly the final quality is not nearly good enough for production. I've run out of options , so i'm here asking you some advice. I saw videos on Youtube showing people using rooms with much more clutter than mine, and simpler clothes, getting results that are much better than mine. I'm starting to think that there might be some problems with the latest IpMocap Studio release, since all the videos i watched are at least one year old.
Any advice is appreciated, i don't really know what else to try. Thanks in advance

Given calibration is good, poor tracking is usually caused by the following reasons:
