Hi there, my name is Milan, I'm from Slovenia, Europe. I'm the owner of small software company (me, myself and I) where I work for living, and I have indie game making hobby afternoon with some ideas to make a switch sometimes in the future... so your Motion Capture system looks like perfect tool for me. I'm looking forward to buy some cameras (I'm planning to take Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 or Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks - can you give me some hints, which cameras are the best for your system?) and to make some test with your software. I'm really excited that I've found your product - because I was looking for markerless solutions (Organic Motion), but it was way too expensive and complicated for me. Hopefully your solution will do what I need. BTW, do you have any plans to develop markerless facial recognition software as well ?

Best regards,
Milan

Hi Milan,

Logitech cameras are great and highly recommended.

Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 and Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks are in fact one and the same camera. The only difference is plastic body. The 9000 camera has a desktop stand, while QuickCam Pro for Notebooks has a clip. You can go to a local computer shop and have a close look at these cameras and choose what mounting system is better for you.

We don't have facial motion capture yet but yes, the plan is to add it eventually to our system, so that it would be possible to capture motion and facial expression at the same time.

Thanks, Michael,
that's all great news for me! Can't wait to return to Slovenia and test it out. I'll let you know about my experience. Go iPiSoft !

Best regards,
Milan

Our facial mocap is still at very early stages and will not be released anytime soon.
