For 4 cameras in a circle, they can all face the opposing camera as long as they are pointed down at a 20-30 degree angle?

Or, should they be pointed down and also at an angle to the left or right?

A diagram showing ideal placement for 3 and 4 camera would be helpful.

Michael,

Thanks for the tips!

I would recommend that you start your testing with 3-camera setup...3 cameras is just easier to manage for novice users.

Interesting. I was thinking of getting a fourth camera, even though I'm still experimenting with three. I guess I can hold off until I'm more comfortable with using three.

Realistically, I'm realizing that I don't have the space at home for four cameras, unless I set up outdoors in the back yard or I finally clean out our garage. (My wife would encourage me to do the latter.) :)

Just pointed down.

For 3-camera version, you can download the tutorial project from "Tutorials" section of our website:

http://www.ipisoft.com/video_tutorials.php

You can review 3D camera configuration inside iPi Studio and do the same.

For 4 camera configurations, we will include diagrams into upcoming releases of User Guide. We still need to do more testing to give you more detailed recommendations for 4 cameras.
