What is the purpose of your tests? Do you want to test tracking quality in iPi Mocap Studio before going to buy some cameras?

Hello, sorry for posting in this old topic here, I would like to request a sample video/required files for processing, too.

I don't have any cameras suitable to use for testing iPi DMC right now and I want to know if my current PC will be able to handle DMC, or if I should get ready to build a new rig.

My current PC specs are:
Intel Dual-Core E3600 2.6GHz
GeForce GT 440
Windows 7 x64

I found a topic on this forum where some guy was complaining he couldn't get DMC to work on his GT 440, so it got me worried.
Also if it works I want to know how long it would take to process each frame with my current setup.

So if you guys could send me some test footage using a 4x PlayStation Eye setup, it would help me a lot.

Here are old samples for 4 PS Eye cameras. Video is in AVI format, so you will need to convert it first with iPi Recorder to use in iPi Mocap Studio. See help about conversion in our wiki.

Thanks, it worked!

I averaged about 2.7 seconds per frame with my GT 440 with tracking resolution on High, and 1.3 seconds per frame on Low.
The result was surprisingly accurate, even on low and without applying Jitter Removal.

Unfortunately I found out that my PSU is not being able to handle my video card, it shut down halfway though the tracking, I was able to track the whole animation by pausing every 3 minutes and letting the GPU rest, but other than that, it was pretty fast, way faster than I expected (I was expecting something around 8 seconds to 15 seconds per frame). I know it is not the Mocap Studio's fault because the same happened when I was playing Assassins Creed III some days ago.
