I'm pretty new to all of this and just getting my feet wet here.

I managed to get a 3 Azure Kinect system up to record 2 actors, but I'm having some issues with limbs splitting off and losing track of the correct placement.

I've been fixing this one single frame at a time, for both actors. Is there a better way to get the bones to stick with my actors?

Have you tried with a single actor first? Just to get accustomed with the software and calibration/recording process. If so, did it go well?
Common sources of tracking errors are:
  • Bad calibration. Then point clouds from different sensors are poorly aligned.
  • Loose clothes of an actor. Or made of improper materials - too much yellow noise on the actor depth image
  • Obscuring body parts from cameras. This may be mitigated by acting differently or finding more appropriate placement of cameras.
If you can share one of you videos along with a project or scene file (for camera positions) I'll probably be able to give you specific recommendations. You may send the link to our tech support email if you don't want to post it in public.
