Don't even have to do that.
In the gallery are sample calibration and walk videos if you just want to evaluate how the software could work in your pipeline.

It's true, the Kinect is HUGELY convenient despite its limitations. It's easy to start imagining a multiple Kinect setup for that perfect low cost mocap solution, but there's that pesky IR interference thing. Seems you can only use one... which goes back to that pesky occlusion thing.
Still, I recommend that even if you have a multiple camera setup, adding the Kinect is a good idea.
