I agree with Snapz on most points. I do most of my work with a dual Kinect and it's been fine for me, but it depends on what you need of course. I agree that the cameras provide greater accuracy but the accuracy of the dual Kinect system is not bad at all, and convenience factor (easier setup and works in smaller space) makes it worthwhile for me. (FWIW, I'm getting closer to being able to employ a triple Kinect 2 setup soon.)

As for internal systems, I haven't used one myself but, based on what I've seen so far in demo videos, the positional tracking seems inferior to what iPi Mocap Studio produces, PS3 Eye or Kinect.

This is just my opinion but, unless you go for very high-end mocap systems, budget real-timeime[/i] systems seem over-rated in that they appear to be more error prone than iPi. Yes, iPi can produce errors too but there are far fewer because it is not a real-time system. With iPi, it seems like I can let the computer handle more of the tedious cleanup work so I can focus on the creative stuff.
