Great ! Hyper clean calibration video sems to be the secret.My one had reflections all over, so I spoiled my 3 cameras tests. is there a way to download your tests from You tube ? is there a way to do so ? would you allow it ? because it could be very useful for our own tests with Ipi. Luiz |

I've edited these videos to work in IPI but due to the low res the results are a little flakey at times, otherwise they should work txesmi if you wish me not to share these just let me know, I don't know how long I'll have these up so this link may not work in the future http://mpmaxwell.com/IPI_AVIS.zip apart from these and the IPI tutorial I've had to go out and buy 4 PS3 cams and extension cables, a fair cost for just testing something. I recommend making more files available for people who wish to try the program out first |

For those interested I've uploaded a movie of my results using these videos, a tweaked the punch a little but still pretty raw http://mpmaxwell.com/IPI_TestAnim.mov I have to say I'm pretty impressed with this program and will most likely buy it at the end of the trial, just need to see what I can pull off in my tiny flat when the cams get here |

That's a cool test! And good idea about uploading test files for others to play with. I've been doing that at the NewTek forums, mainly for others to try retargeting iPi .bvh files to characters in Animeeple, and then exporting the data as .fbx or .dae in other 3D packages. So far one user go the data into Max, and I've had good luck moving the data on a stock Animeeple character to LightWave but only if I use the optional .fbx exporter. I think a few other users are testing the files in other 3D applications (awaiting results.) It's been fun turning the tests into a community R&D project, and it saves me a lot of time testing things by myself. I'll post some of my test files here later this week and see what interesting things turns up. :) G. |

Thanks G! It's a shame the IPI guys dont have a page full of different calibration and capture videos to test with, I'm going loopy waiting for my cameras to arrive:) Time on the trial period's running out too!!:( If you have any videos to share it would be greatly appreciated, cheers |
