I think I'm doing it right but when I export I get the default skeleton.
Steps I'm taking.
Save from max a the biped as .fbx Inside iPi Studio I "Import Target Character" and hook up the bones, it follows along great. I choose export animation for 3dsmax (BVH) and after it finishes the imported character disappears, weird but ok... I load the motion onto my biped and the joints distort to fit the default skeleton. This is bad... very bad...
I guessed this might be a biped issue so I exported to FBX and the skeleton that I get matches the default iPi studio skeleton perfectly, which is not correct.
It appears to not transfer any motion but just be a "display motion on a secondary skeleton"? I thought I could use this to "transfer motion" to my actual skeleton and export something that isn't going to distort my actual skeleton horrifically.
Exporting re-targeted animation would be prefect. I don't know if this is a bug or a feature request, seems like a bug?
