| Post subject: | Frame-by-frame timestamps upon export to Matlab |
It seems that when exporting motion capture data to Matlab, there is no timing information automatically provided -- we get frame number, but not the time in seconds, in other words. I can go back and look at the frame rate in Mocap Studio (usually close to 30 FPS for Kinect) in order to assign a time to each frame rate, but I'm wondering if I'm missing a way of doing this automatically. Also, that method (using frame rate to assign a time to each frame) assumes a constant frame rate throughout the video, which would usually be a pretty safe assumption, but one I'd rather avoid if possible. Any ideas? |

In case anyone else wondered, iPi support confirmed that at this time (Mocap Studio 3.1.0.173), only frame numbers and not timestamps are exported. |
