If you don't have a lot of space, you might consider switching to depth sensors.
Back when I used the PS3 Eye setup, I recorded mainly in our garage, which I think is 16 x 2 ft (roughly 5 x 6 meters.) If I completely cleared out the space, I technically able to use up to 6 cameras but not in a perfect circle. More practically, I used four sensors in a semicircle, because I also needed the space for special lighting equipment, as well as a workbench and general storage space. If you have at least this much space, you might be able to make it work. For me, this wasn't very convenient because at the time I was constantly moving my workstation into the garage and then moving it back to out computer room in the house.
This is why I switched to depth sensors. With limited recording space, depth sensors have many advantages. For example, they can record in fairly small areas, don't require special color clothing, and the room lighting requirements are less critical. As a matter of fact, with depth sensors, room lighting is not used at all for body capture. It's also faster and easier to setup and break down a depth sensor setup. And because of the nature of depth sensors, you can use fewer devices to capture a wider view of the performance.
Since I switched to depth sensors, I'm able to do 'full body' 360 degree recordings in our small-ish living room space, and I can set up and start recording sessions in less than five minutes. When I'm done put all the gear away in minutes so my family can go back to enjoying the living room again.
On the other hand, it's true there are downsides to using depth sensors: the maximum recording space is smaller with depth sensors and quality of the data is not as accurate as PS3 Eye for fast motions. And depending on the sensor model, depth sensors can potentially require a lot more computer power to use multiple sensors.
But for me, the convenience and ease of use is worth the trade off. And the 'reduced accuracy' doesn't necessarily mean the data is bad, it's just less accurate for certain types of motions (mostly quick motions or unusually complex activity.)
Anyway, just a suggestion.
In my case, I used Kinect for Windows for several years, switched to Kinect One a few years ago, and recently upgraded to a pair of Azure Kinect sensors. I'll post a review with device comparisons later this year, and will let everybody know when that is available.
