In the documentation, GoPro and SJCAM are recommended for use in an action camera based setup.
I like that they benefit from a higher FPS and FOV, and I've seen online that you can use action cameras as webcams, for example: the SJ4000 by SJCAM is advertised as having a webcam functionality.

Therefore, I'm wondering if anyone has tried it specifically for iPi mocap, since you theoretically get the best of both worlds based on the comparison outlined in the documentation.

I’ve tried the older SJ4000 with iPi in webcam mode — it works, but has drawbacks: limited control over settings, inconsistent frame rate, and potential sync issues. For better results, consider recording to SD and syncing manually. Curious if the newer Dual Screen model improves on this!
