Hello, I'd like to connect a Play station move controller for head, and possibly hand movement. Years ago i remember viewing threads that only a very specific PSMove controller, with a specified serial number would work. is this still the case? Thanks |

Hello, Supported controllers are listed here: https://docs.ipisoft.com/Motion_Controllers We would recommend to use the 3th model from the table - model CECH-ZCM2x. The thing is that, it has 10x higher measurement rate, which results in better accuracy. |

Thanks for the info! Can i assume that I can buy just the controllers themselves to work with ipi,.. I don't need the play station console to sync or initialize them in some way? Thanks! |

Thanks for the quick reply!. Having difficulties getting my Computer system ( Windows 10) to set up the controller. spent several days now. The motion controller shows up in the "Other Devices" but I cant pair it through Bluetooth, despite numerous attempts I just bought a 2 pack PS4 move controller- CECH-ZCM2E and an ASUS USB-BT400 USB Adapter. I've tired re installing drivers, installing PSMoveService, DS4Windows, nothing seems to work. I know the Motion in Joy drivers are out of date. nothing but Malware at this point. All I'm really looking for is head tracking. Is the Wii controller less problematic to install? Thanks! Jeff |

I totally understand your frustration—I've been through a similar setup recently. I also used a CECH-ZCM2E PS Move controller and ran into the same pairing issues with Windows 10. The ASUS USB-BT400 should be compatible, stickman hook but sometimes the default Windows Bluetooth stack doesn't cooperate well with PSMoveService. |

Wii controllers (especially Wii Motion Plus) are generally easier to set up, but offer less precision than PS Move—especially for head tracking. If you only need basic head movement tracking, Wii remotes may be enough. But for better accuracy and data rate, I'd still recommend sticking with the CECH-ZCM2x and fine-tuning your setup. |
