Hello! I'm gonna do my first ever mocap test using two Xbox One Kinects this week, and I do have all of the equipment necessary, the only issue is that I will be recording with my laptop and it only has 1 USB 3.0 port, can I use something like this to record with 2 Depth Sensors? https://www.ebay.com/itm/324244074102 Thank you! |

Hey Oktoberfest,escape road If you're going to use a hub, keep in mind that USB 3.0 bandwidth is limited, so running both Kinect sensors through a single hub could result in a performance drop or data loss. Using a powered USB 3.0 hub with separate data channels for each Kinect might mitigate these issues, but testing before your mocap session is key. |
