My DMC just asked to be updated today. Knowing the case of one of us here that his DMC requires internet connection to be used thus making it unusable on places which has no internet (which is unavoidable when you look for spacious locations to shoot video), I refused to be updated.

Did iPiSoft fixed this problem already?

There was a post from Michael about two weeks ago which stated that the software never required you to be connected to the internet to run it. You only needed to be connected to automatically update to the latest version.

I don't doubt this but I'll see if I can confirm this here. I've really fallen way behind on my IPI testing though. Just got back from a long trip and only now getting around to cleanning the garage out. I may still be delayed a few more days even after getting the garage in order because my main laptop that I use Recorder with just died. :P
