Tutorial videos are encoded with XVID codec. I think you may have old version of XVID.

You should download latest XVID from

http://www.xvid.org/Downloads.15.0.html

(it is a free codec).

I have the same problem. Also when try using the calibration.mocap in the tutorial file I can do the charactor refitting but it just stoped when hitting track forward.

Updating the XVID codeck won't help. The video runs normally when I hit play though.
Any one?

Can you move through the video frame-by-frame? What happens when you hit the "[>|]" button?

To resolve the problem, you can use a simple work-around: convert the video to uncompressed AVI. You can use VirtualDub ( http://www.virtualdub.org ) to convert the video.
