Is there an equipment needed list on the site? if so please send me link. If not can admin please create one. ie. Equipment Needed... Software Computer (rec specs) 3 or 4 PS3 eye cameras USB Passive and Active extention cables Light wand for calibration (any recommendations) tripods plus anyting else needed? |

Hi For your equipement, you need a good video card, like 8800 GT or better, this will determinate how fast your computer will "track" the video and animate the "ipisoft body character" Your need three or four cams (as you like) but you have to know the FOV, it's better if they are same model. Active USB link a maglite, in candel mode. well Enlightened room, with no contrast between floor and walls, like a photograph studio. contrasted clothes, blue jeans, long shirt, and short t-shirt over it with different color. Have a look here: http://www.ipisoft.com/documentation/mo ... /Mocap.htm The version of IPIsoft is out of date in that tutorial now, which is to be expected with beta level software progressing all the time, but the differences aren't that great. The rest of it still stands although I've refined my setup a bit since then (I wear red socks instead of trainers and I stand on a light green sheet to give contrast to them and my legs) |
