Post subject:  More than one actor, and batch renders?

With out getting into the programming I'm assuming that ipi sets points to a few pixels on each video tracks them as they move, then with more cameras it works out the 3D space that those pixels (points) have moved.

So I have two questions:

1) Assuming the above is true, would it be possible to have more than one actor in a capture by masking out all the other but one? What I mean is apply a mask in all the videos that have say two actors on one then render. Repeat for the second actor. Then import two separate bvh files into my 3D software?

2) Because the render time is long will there be a batch render?

Sorry, we don't support multiple actors as of yet. If actors do not interact too closely, you can try processing them one-by-one, sometimes it works but this is not officially supported.

We do not support batch processing but you can run multiple instances of iPi Studio side-by-side for parallel processing. Better yet, get a faster video card - this can dramatically improve processing time. Here is a quick guide on performance for different video cards:
