i have 4 pseye cams that i was recording via my laptop through ipi recorder
i could only record at 320x240 otherwize i would have major dropped frames

i was using the raw function and my laptop is pretty modern 4 core with 8 gigs of ram and dual hard drives....
and the cameras were plugged directly into the laptop for testing purposes (i.e. no usb extensions)

i was just surprised that it could not record 4 streams of 640x480 even at 30p without dropping a lot of frames....
to get 60 fps i can only do 320x240

is this typical or should i troubleshoot something....is 4 cams at 640x480 60fps raw possible on a good laptop

You might have only one or very low performance usb controllers.
