Quote: Changes in latest version: * Implemented Advanced Motion Transfer. * Implemented FBX format for importing target characters (no animation export in FBX as of yet). * Improved COLLADA support. * Added export option for Blender-compatible BVH. * Added calibration point cloud export option. * Minor bug fixes. Very excited to see FBX support making its debut. What is Advanced Motion Transfer? I'm assuming this has to do with retargeting? Congratulations on the new release. Can't wait to try this one tonight. :) G. |

wow, 0.25s per frame now down from 0.4. Is this fluke or is this consistent I wonder, i'll play more. Also on first glance it looks like you've fixed the gorilla stance from the T pose with the Kinect, I hope that's one of the bugs fixed and not just chance when I retracked. :) |

Excellent progress ipisoft - speed is essential - keep up the good work. |

I found out what it says... Advanced Motion Transfer....Eliminates foot skate for target characters with non human porportions. Like cartoon characters, However may not work well for some characters. |

Ah, that's a good one then. I do my retargeting in Motion Builder so skating for cartoon proportioned characters hasn't been an issue for me but it's good to know that iPi Studio can do this directly now. And I know a lot of people who will be very pleased to hear this. :) |
