 Post subject: Outdoor calibration ?

Im plannig to do some outdoor shots...

Does anyone have experience for calibrating in bright sunlight? Does Maglite works ??

Hi Hannu,

I'm afraid Maglite won't work the same as indoor shooting ^^
I created a scepter with a big enough shiny christmas ball to put on top, this way I was able to pre process the tracking in a compositing software like Adobe After Effects. You can check an example in this video at 57 seconds:

It works perfectly, as u told.

I made small scale test with 2 camera and tracked "bottle cap" in AE with 14 keyframes / camera.
Great result !!
