Post subject:  conflict between Primesense and Microsoft kinect drivers
I use Windows 7.
I had installed the Primesense drivers during the installation of iPi Recorder, but since when I installed the recent Microsoft SDK, iPi Recorder doesn't reconise Kinect anymore.

Is there a way to avoid the reinstallation of the correct drivers everytime?

Hi Emma,

Yes I had the same problem, But then I just uninstalled the Microsoft SDK and everythings back to normal.

The driver says Open NI when I open the recorder now.

In the near future we will update iPiRecorder to use Microsoft Kinect SDK driver when it is available.

For now, you must uninstall Microsoft Kinect SDK to be able to use iPiRecorder.
