I have tried everything in my power, I have done this so far, and hopefully Someone can tell me where I went wrong.

I have done these things.

1: Started recording (ipiRecorder) not in the picture, stepping into it, making a T pose.
2: Started recording while IN the T pose.
3: Started recording in a relaxed pose and re-positioned the ipi avatar into my own body.
Note: I have refit pose on all of them, some 3 times, some 20 times. Same result, different outcomes everytime though. While the refit pose works correctly, assuming the tutorials Mr.Bones gave as well as the outdated tutorial that was provided by this site, it will "bend" out of shape on the first tracking movement.

I am very proficient in 3d workings as well as coding, I have been in two mocap studios (and my GOD they are expensive to rent) .. This program in my belief would be better suited by the user if they use eye toys. Any depth camera will not provide enough detail even if it worked.

If there is anyone who has had this and knows a way to fix it, I am completely open to discussion. I'm sleepy and going to bed now...

I layed down, I fell asleep, I drempt! Holy God, for those who are confused as I was.

Move your background until the beginning of your Tpose standing with arms out like the actor / character.

Set your area of interest FIRST!

Make the START of the area of interest the begging of the Tpose, reposistion the actor guy on your body.

Refit pose. Like 3 or 4 times .. just until it doesnt look like a deformity.

Start tacking there. Jesus Christ I wont be asleep for ANOTHER 18 HOURS... SADLY though, I only get 5 second animations.

I will, as Mr. Bones did, place a tutorial on this on youtube along with my work in the unreal engine once I get a 100% feel for the program. If this works as I have just gotten it to. I would pay twice the money for it.

It may bee this....

iPiRecorder for kinect needs 30 frames , thats 1 second of nothing moving after you press the record button.

Otherwise it simply wont work.

I can also help you via remote control of your machine from my location.

I hae done this succesfuly with several clients already.

Sorry for the delay as we have been very busy!!

Thanks and CHeers

P.S. you can also find iPiSupport at my forum. http://www.truebones.com/forum

I have gotten the kinect so successfully working now, it could be implemented into a triple a video game with the need of SLIGHT hand regesturing in blender.

I have also purchased 4 eye toys and some stands and im mixing and matching my results / videos with each other.. My most precise was a mixture using video editing software and having my frontal ps3 camera replaced with a shot from my kinect. Afterwards I hooked up two machines and recorder via ipirecorder with three cameras and my kinect at the same time. after mixing them properly (the timing was a b!tch....) i got the absolute most smoothest animation you could ask for. true to life real motion, it barely even needed dejittering. I am still having import problems with maya and bvh files, but im fixing it tonight.. with 3,000 dollars and a semi indepth knowledge of your favorite 3d editing software.. You could alone create 100% full motion actors in a matter of hours. They will be receiving a purchase from me shortly. and I will be donating to brekel as well. The combiation of these powerful tools is so beyond what they even realize i believe.

IPI requires some skill, as my first results was awful. Please post how you mixed the cameras and the Kinect.
