I know it's in development, but there hasn't been any news on it in a long time other than "it's in development." I ask mainly because I plan to buy iPisoft, but not until the multi-Kinect version is available (hopefully soon), plus I'm just curious as to how it's going so far. I've been very enthused by my tests with a single Kinect and I'm just excited to get my hands on a multi-Kinect setup. |

I'm curious too. This weekend we finished the animatic for our second mini-movie (it's a smaller film we're creating for this year's Gothtober,) and we're going to shoot this one entirely with iPi DMC and the Kinect starting tonight. The script was written with just the single Kinect in mind but it would be cool if we can start using a dual Kinect system. (Though realistically, we probably wouldn't use it until after we're done this mini-movie because unlike 'Pooper' we have a firm and very short deadline for this project.) :p Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing any news about dual Kinect support. Hope development is going well. G. |

There was supposed to be talk of it at Siggraph, but I haven't been able to find anything about it on the web. |

Would still really like to hear something about this. Anything would be nice. Maybe a new video from the beta or something? I've tried the single-Kinect version and really like it, but I'm hoping the multi-Kinect version will improve tracking (I can't imagine that it won't). |

They are not really ones for community updates here. It's been six months since their last noticeable update (not minor tweaks). Heck we've been waiting over a year for head and/or wrist tracking. The only reason we even got the kinect functionality so fast was because of pressure from Brekel (this is a speculation but I'd bet you a dollar). Brekel had wrist tracking in within a month of releasing and that is for realtime! My HUGE wishes are that they went and collaborated with these guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYsqNnDA1l4 for face mocap (sadly I doubt this will go anywhere near the public) or that they'll add Multi-actor or finger mocap or Multi-GPU rendering. :/ |

Hello everyone! We are sorry for our silence... Support of two Kinects is ready but we still have some minor tech issues. We are going to publish appropriate update for iPi Studio and iPi Recorder in a few days. |
