Hi! I am trying to record Kinet output. Scree looks OK with multicolored depth display. Upon starting recording the buffer quickly goes down and gets red. I stopped the recording after 5 seconds to test. AVI does not open, either with mediaPlayer or IPI studio. IT is a bad AVI file. I have a GOOD computer dual CPU 3.6 mHz and fast SATA drives. What's up? IPI studio gives me the message: "cannot open file (xxxx name ) attempted to read or write protected memory!...." Mike |

Although nobody answered me, as usual in "support" forums, I solved the issue. It was the installer allows to run under Windows XP 64 Pro, but the program fails to save the AVI files! After re-installing on a Windows 7 it worked OK! You should either fix it or prevent Windows XP 64 installations! Thanks for not caring about my question! Bye! |

I don't think it was that nobody here cared to help; this forum has actually been one of the more civil and helpful ones I've participated in. To me at least, I didn't think you provided enough information to help troubleshoot the problem effectively. Plus, you didn't allow very much time for many iPi users to read your post and respond to it (about 15 hours and on a week night at that.) Glad you got it working though. :) G. |
