Should i uninstall the OpenNI drivers for kinect and install the PrimeSensor ones that come with ipi recorder? I heard from some people that the OpenNI drivers dont work well with ipi recorder. |

For using Kinect with iPi DMC, you should be using the drivers that come included with the current installer. FYI, there is no reason to have both drivers installed if you are planning to use Kinect only with iPi DMC. However if you need to use Kinect with other software, unless I'm wrong, I believe you can have both types installed at the same time. Be sure to read the wiki entry on this subject as there is a specific procedure for setting this up. G. |

Thanks for the response, I uninstalled the OpenNI drivers and it seems to capture better, the floor plane doesn't appear smooth is it because its carpet
