Post subject:  Questions about studio setup

Hey guys!

I was originally going to buy one of the more expensive motion capture packages this year (compared to iPisoft), but quickly found out that the space that I have for recording was simply too small.
I have a small 'studio' in a basement that is roughly 3.8m x 8.5m with a ceiling height of about 2.2-2.3m (it's 2.4m but I have soundproofed the ceiling). That is the entire room though, obviously my workstation + me will need to fit in there too.
So now my concern is wether I should go for the 6 ps3 camera setup with iPi or the dual Kinect.
In the wiki it says that the ps3 camera setup wants at least 4x4m, which I won't really get but still not too far from it I guess. So not sure if it will work?
It doesn't mention either how much actual recording volume that will give me. And I'm thinking that if it doesn't give me much more than what 2 Kinect cameras will, maybe that approach is smarter?
Or is the quality/precision of the ps3 setup (6 cameras) that much better than 2 Kinect? (since it's not just about more capture volume, but also 30 more fps for cleaner capture as well as more area coverage due to more cameras)

My aim is obviously to get the most out of this system as it's fairly more basic than what I had originally planned on using (though the markerless aspect of it is very nice).
And if I should go with 6 ps3 cameras, how would you recommend I set it up with the space that I got? Since I got less than 4 meter width but much more length, I'm not sure what the best approach would be.

Thanks a lot!
