So I went and bought a Kinnect, just bought a cord for the Kinnect and recorded my motion. But I need the demo for Motion Capture and I have no clue how to use the demo, I downloaded it but it still ask for a key. |

Gody, Go to the control panel of this forum, Copy and paste the key it gives you for the trial. Thanks and Cheers |

You need to request a trial key, obviously. I cannot remember the details, since our current version is registered and I used the trial months ago, but in my opinion it was quite straightforward (automated). There is no key in the control panel, that technique was abandoned about six months ago. |

Sorry then, Yes, they must have changed the demo procedure. It is quite unclear at this point. According the FAQ and Wiki, activation is done online now and there should have been instructions on-screen the first time you launched the software. If you didn't see the instructions after launching, I'd email iPi Soft about it directly. Their address is on the main website under Contacts. If you activated the software previously, the trial period may have expired. If the 30-day trial wasn't long enough to properly evaluate the software, they might do an extension upon request. It certainly won't hurt to ask. Alternatively, you could install the trial on a different computer. Sorry I can't confirm much more than that because it's been a few years since I purchased iPi DMC and the activation procedure has changed since then anyway. Hopefully somebody from iPi Soft will fill the gaps with official info. G. |
