Also, if you're doing a major upgrade to the same computer, like replacing the network card for example, you should probably deactivate the license before replacing the part.
Technically, replacing a hard disk or graphics card will not invalidate your active license, but IMO better safe than sorry. I have not had that problem with iPi Studio but I have run into that problem in the past with other software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Toon Boom Animate Pro, Magpie Pro, etc.,) that use a similar license scheme. FWIW, in each case, the publisher issued a new activation to me quickly.
