Hello,
I would like to use iPi to do motion capture with a Kinect for a character.
If i have my rig built in Maya with custom controls for the hands, face etc, is there any way to be able to apply data capture from iPi to my rig, and still have my controls in tact?

Is this even necessary? Is there some other relatively easy way to do fingers after Kinect motion capture?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Do you have a version of your Character in FBX or DAE format?

If so you can put that inside iPi and apply the motion.

Then you can export the FBX or DAE with motion, bones and skin, right back into MAYA.

Sure... just export the skeleton only from maya into iPi, retarget, send back to maya, and copy the motions back onto your master rig with the additional controllers. Alternatively, do an export of the motion uve tracked with iPi to maya, and retarget it onto your character structure there using HIK (assuming ur using 2012).
