Hello, we have do some evaluation on ipi-soft. It is very impressive, and here is some little problems we meet: 1、We meets these problems : With 6 PS3 eyes , can only reach 30 FPS . If set it to 60 FPS, no more than 3 PS3 Eyes. Trial version can only support 4 PS3 Eyes, is there any other limits? 2、Move gizmo on two axis at the same time, I mean move it on a plan but not an axis, is this feature supported ? Sometimes node gizmo can not be picked, when it is behind character. Is there a X-ray mode for it? Can we change gizmo's reference frame? e.g. Local|Parent|World space. currently world space is default. 3、Is it possible to change the following manually : the number of bones, length of bones ? 4、We have measured every camera's height, is it possible to input all of these number manually as an initial guess. Currently only some params can be manually inputed. e.g Distance between #1 and #2 camera scaled. 5、When doing refit, can we mark error bone, so that only these bone get refit. 6、A wish : life will be easy if there is hand rotation tracking. 7、We want to evaluate 6 cameras' result but it seems currently it is not supported on evaluation version. Best Regards Kaijie Xu Netdragon Websoft Inc. |

Better than hand tracking is "keyframeless advancing". Its faster than tracking to do the hands this way. Simply hold the mouse button down. The keys are set for you automatically. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUYs1f_s ... ture=g-u-u http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVwgdF2F ... ture=g-u-u |

Hi, adamgamer wrote: With 6 PS3 eyes , can only reach 30 FPS . If set it to 60 FPS, no more than 3 PS3 Eyes. If that means you are experiencing frame drop issues in iPi Recorder at 60 fps, than probably it can be solved with additional USB controllers (see our wiki http://wiki.ipisoft.com/USB_controllers, if you haven't done already). If there is an issue with HDD writing speed then try using SSD. Trial is fully functional (for 30 days) analogue of the Basic edition. You can record and process video from 6 cameras. But you cannot export the resulting animation from iPi Studio, as 6-camera configuration is only supported by the Standard edition. Thank you for suggestions, we'll try to address them in future releases. |
