Hi everyone!
I wanted to run some tests with a Multiple PlayStation Eye Cameras set. I was reading a 12 x 12 feet room.
My question is... would it work a 10 X 20 feet space room ?? (it is exactly 3 x 6 meters).
Floor and walls are white and the room is empty.

I would very much appreciate your feedback.
Many thanks
e.

Should be OK. Just ensure that an actor is fully visible in as much area as possible.
As an example, you can place 2 cameras at short sides on medium height, and 4 at long sides, 2 at each on different heights. So that at each long side you have 1 lower camera and 1 higher camera, and cameras at long sides facing each other are placed at different heights.

I have some similar room. Mine is 14x22 I tried to find the best configuration possible but it was hard. I'm left with an area of 10 feet by 7 feet where I can be seen by my 6 camera. I Put the two camera on the less wide wall at 6 feet height. The four other are at 7 feet of height. Should I have done like you suggested and put some lower on the edge of my room? If so what purpose will it serve, is my triangulation gonna be better? Because so far I still got a lot of clean up and putting bone in place but the room in itself is not really good for contrast but that's what I got. If you have some optimal position for camera for a room this size it would be nice to know. By the way I'm using PS3 camera.

It was only my guess how to put cameras in this situation so at any place of the capture volume the actor is good visible. We've actually had not practices with rooms extended in one direction.
By lower height I meaned such position from which the actor's feet are always visible.
