using windows 8 vista business would not load drivers for kinects downnloaded kinects sdk 1.5 kinects working fine in ipi recorder 2.0 probably dumb question but I cant figure out how to import the ipi video 2.0 into ipi studio 2.0 any help or suggestions are very appreciated ??? To start working with iPiVideo file in Studio, press the New button on toolbar (or File > New project... menu item). This will bring you up the New Project wizard.

I did that but when I browse to where the IPI video file is stored , IPI studio looks for file in correct format it does not see the file in the folder where the video is stored.The properties for the video file say the default app to open the video file is click once app do I have an extension wrong or something ??? thanks so much for the super fast response.

Try drag-and-dropping iPiVideo file to Studio.
iPiVideo extension is associated with iPi Recorder (it is deployed using ClickOnce). Double-clicking opens the video in Player of iPi Recorder. You can also drag'n'drop it to iPi Recorder.

So you can simply drag the ipiRecorder video into the ipiStudio window and it will work? I am on my iPad right now so can't test that. Would be nice to know somewhere in the help section.
