Hello guys Right now this is what I'm using to run Ipisoft and I was wondering how I can make it better. Calibration normaly take me around 30 - 45 minutes to process which I find quite long and tracking take like 1.8 second each frame. What actually make the calculation shorter? I'm using a setup of 6 PS3 eye running at 60 fps on 640x480 resolution. Nvidia GTX 550 TI 120 gb ssd, 500 gb Hdd 24 gb ram ddr3 I7 3930k 6 core HIper threading 3.20ghz If you guys know what can be improved for best performance please tell me. |

Find a display adapter that has 2-3 GB of memory, then you can process with 6+ iPiStudios running in parallel. Besides, updating the display adapter is probably the only thing in your system that would result to faster processing. With six PS3 cameras, quad-core i7 3.4GHz and Geforce GTX 560 I usually can get below 1 second per frame, and running 3 tracking processes in parallel about 0.7 s/frame. This is for v1, though, v2 might be slower but I don't know the current situation. |
