I have a question... is the software accurate enough to sync the a video of the actor taken at the same time as the motion capture?

My rough idea is to create hybrid characters that use parts that real and parts that are not. Sort of a way around much more expensive object tracking software like PFtrack.

think it is possible with IPI? anyone actually done this before? If not, any tips for trying it?

Hi, im working in almost the same of you as i see, i want to automate digital makeup and enhancements. i havent done any tests but my calcs says will be impossible to skip the 3d camera tracking, but will be much straight forward the animation and integration. i have the plan to capture the performance with a 7d, 2 go pro and the kinect. lets see what results. everything will be at 60 fps except kinects. maybe later will try xtion
