Wondering if iPi is working on a better calibration for PS3 Eye cameras than non LED mag lites as they are becoming extinct.

Actually purchased a couple of backups today, but getting harder and harder to find.

I've always used an LED Maglite with PS3 Eye. Do mean the ones with the single LED, convertible to 'candle mode', are going away?

Well I never tried using a LED as it said in their calibration not to use LED light.
So LED lights work?
Swear the tutorial for calibration of PS3 Eyes said no LED lights.
Thanks for the heads up.

This is an old (iPi Studio 1.0) video but, yeah, I used a single LED Maglite here:

To me, the LED is ideal because it's very bright and the brightness is constant when in 'candle' mode.
