Yes, you can process videos captured by someone else, and vice-versa.

Videos should preferably be captured using iPi Recorder.

iPi Recorder captures videos in AVI format but the trick is that for synchronized multi-camera video there is no such thing as "regular video clip". To the best of our knowledge, there are no good multi-camera recorders or players available commercially. So there is just nothing to compare to.

Current iPi Recorder format is very simple: one video stream in AVI, all cameras side-by-side.

I'm afraid StreamPix recorder alone is much more expensive then our complete system. Their website says "Contact us for a quote" and "Evaluation demos are given to prospective customers only and are for a two week period."

VisualRecorder is nowhere to be found on the web. It has a website with front page and broken links to other pages. Overall, this VisualMarker / VisualRecorder software looks like a hoax. Did anyone really see the software itself, not the VisualMarker webpage?

Very well done for ipi Studio, I work on video mocap softwares (body and facial) since 10 years and I think ipi Studio will be a great sucess. a this time I try ipi Studio ... coming soon some 3D animations made with ipi Studio !

DGeeMee (freeware) is a video based motion capture and analysis software package to use video in sports and could export after works in BVH format, unfortunately documentation and helps topics are too light ! so hard to work !

In DgeeMeSetup.msi 1.0Beta version includes another video capture software : DVApp.exe but not multi stream !
