I have been using IPI for quite some time now, and as most of you, I love this software. I was recently telling a friend about it at which he attempted to download the original version; however after having installed the program it asked for an activation code. Where would one get this code if the V.1 software is now free? Thanks guys.

AFAIK, iPi Desktop Motion Capture 1.0 was never offered as free software. This version was 'retired' with the release of Mocap Studio 2.0 but that doesn't mean it became free.

The version 1.x is by no means free. You just cannot buy a license for it as there is a newer version. If your friend wanna try the software, let him download the latest release from our website.

Thanks guys! Purely my mistake and misunderstanding. I've already let him know to try V2.

Thanks!
