I am extremely frustrated right now. Soon after launching Recorder (Trial version) my computer freezes. It's not at specific point, but it's a few minutes after I start it... Please help. I have hundreds of dollars worth of equipment invested in this. |

What version of iPi Recorder do you use (see menu "help" at the top-right corner)? Does it freeze without any activity, just after several minutes after launch? What is your cameras configuration (model and quantity)? Try starting Recorder with no cameras connected, does it freeze anyway? Then add cameras one by one and check whether it freezes depending on the camera count. |

Okay I had time to day to do more experiments with the software. This time I tried two carmine sensors and the same result happened. The crashing does not occur without the sensors and perhaps coincidentally from the one attempt I did use it both sensors it immediately crashed after I pressed evaluate (initial setting up.) each time it is the same message, "Driver_IRQL_Not_Less_or_Equal." Or something along those lines. So what do you think about how I should go about to resolve this matter? Thank you, P.S sorry for not getting back to you sooner, obligations came up. |

Sorry, I did not understand from your post whether it crashes with only one Carmine attached. Please also try all available USB ports. The BSOD message you are mentioning means a fail in some device driver. If you manage to get a photo of BSOD, maybe it will be more clear what driver causes the issue. Also, you can try to dig the event log for the records related to crashes (open Start Menu, right-click Computer > Manage, then in tree expand System Tools > Event Viewer > Windows Logs). Had you installed any other drivers for Carmine besides those that are installed by iPi Recorder installation program? |
