i know that official argument of IPI soft is "resolution of camera ( i guess the kinect) is not too high for finger tracking". But you can search many of solutions for it. For example this site:
http://hacknmod.com/hack/kinect-finger- ... e-control/
explains and shows finger tracking without special resolution of camera, but work fine with deph of field/ kinect. Although it is not 100% but better than nothing.
IPI soft could fix it! :)

I dont know much about motion capture but this is the cheapest and for price the best solution for motion capture, and with full body capture (head, hand, fingers) many, many of people buy this soft! Maybe way is new kinect? Maybe this problem in IPI soft will never fix and you must this little pieces of motion capture make manually. :)

This hack is not really a motion capture of fingers. It's again about gesture control, which is the main intended application of Kinect.
Yes, it detects individual finger tips when the fingers are pretty distant from each other. But it does not recognize finger poses, and cannot track while the fingers are close to each other, or the actor's hand does not face the camera.
It appears that the camera approach is not well suited for fingers mocap combined with full body. Instead, specialized devices like gloves or upcoming MYO should be used.

personally, just want hand/head tracking without using PS3 Move tacked all over.
And 2 person capture, but really don't see that possible with iPiSoft with accuracy. Like 2 dancing couples or detailed fighting.
